I attended a rally and vigil to honor victims of Satanic Ritual Abuse and sex trafficking yesterday morning in Sandy, Utah USA at the Karen Gail Miller Conference Center. I am still feeling the healing effects of this beautiful gathering.
Created by SRA allies, the event featured multiple speakers, including:
Goel (pseudonym) - SRA investigator and whistleblower
Asia Raine - advocate, mentor, artist and SRA survivor who also shared her story in the 50 Voices of Ritual Abuse project
Cindy Metalf - Relentless Hope Utah, a help and treatment organization for survivors of satanic and other forms of ritual abuse
Jason and Alexia Preston - We Are The People Utah, MC/speakers and heart-centered, hard-working hosts of this event
…and many other brave survivors and allies. Over 200 people came out, helped by many more behind the scenes. The mood was alternatively fierce, somber, joyful and empowered. I met many new friends and allies, and can feel the momentum for the Utah freedom community growing as the result of this gathering!

At the end of the event, the organizers invited all SRA/sex trafficking abuse survivors to come up front while they played the song "Rescue" by Lauren Daigle. I chose to stand with the other survivors and cried and comforted others crying, and they comforted me. The crowd began spontaneously to applaud us all and started yelling "Thank you!!! Thank you!!!" It was so sweet and healing.

SRA Survivors are used to being attacked, disbelieved, spit on, publicly humiliated, and so much worse. This shows me that truth will prevail! Let's do this in every city...and then take that good collective and root out the perpetrators still abusing, and dig out the DUMBs! Supporting SRA Survivors Supporting ALL Survivors!

How to Support SRA Survivors in Your Hometown
I’d say the folks at Sandy, Utah have a great formula for a public rally that other towns can emulate:
Gather a core group of conspiracy-aware people, exchange contact info.
Set a date and a place. An outdoor public space is great, no need to rent a big hall if you have decent weather. Consider a protest event/place, which can make gathering more powerful and meaningful.
Set up a few speakers, both allies and survivors (if available). Keep the talks short if possible, :05 - :10. Keep the survivor shares at a PG rating in terms of detail if children are present!
Encourage people to bring signs, or bring blank signs and markers for at-event creation. It’s amazing how creative people can be, but simple signs are great too!

Play a lovely song dedicated to survivors of sex trafficking/SRA like “Rescue.” Invite survivors to gather at the front, but know this: there will be many more survivors who do not want to show that status that will be in the audience. This can be incredibly healing for them, too.
Use your momentum to schedule more gatherings, rallies, community events to include holding public officials accountable, changing laws (like making SRA illegal, as Utah is attempting to do), and support SRA survivors with fund-raising. Also support survivor help organizations near you!
In doing all of this, we will change the world and reclaim it for good, one community at a time!
